Good meal
I like this meal. Nice flavor and everything rehydrated pretty well. The sauce was a little thin but it wasn't bad. I saw one of the reviews mentioned using slightly less water - I would probably try that next time to see if the sauce tightens up a little more. Overall this is another great meal from Pinnacle and one I will buy again.

Delicious meal
One of my favorites from pinnacle foods. Nice texture, delicious taste.
BUT (and this is my general experience with all their meals!): I would recommend to use a little less than the recommended 1.5 cups of hot water. I am using like 10oz and from my perspective the texture and creaminess gets way better generally.

1st try with Pinnacle Foods - Best Freeze Dried Meal I've had
I ordered a variety of meals from Pinnacle recently and just got a chance to try the Tuscan Chicken. I've tried most of the other options out there (MH, PR, BP, etc...) and this beats them all. As another reviewer said, it tastes like something I made at home or ordered at a restaurant. Freeze-dried meals are expensive but with this quality, $16 is worth it now having tried it. Hearty and delicious as prepared per the directions. I agree with others, that I would use a little less water and leave it for a little more time next time as is the case with most F-D meals I've eaten. Can't wait to try the others I've ordered!

Delicious
Pinnacle makes the best freeze dried meals I have had. On trips, I look forward to these above all else. I dry my own meals and they are quite good - better than most freeze dried. The meals from Pinnacle beat out my own cooking.

Another Winner!
I have tried every backpacking food brand version of this and Pinnacle's version is hands down the best. It tasted amazing after a long day of heavy backpacking. All the ingredients re-hydrated greatly at 12,000+ feet. I just ordered more of these.

Quick and easy!
If you’re looking for a no frills, delicious meal, this is for you! It needed some salt added, but otherwise it was great after a long day on trail. I had to let it rehydrate for a few more minutes than suggested (around 16-18) to get the chicken full rehydrated, but that was fine. Set it and forget it! I love penne pasta so this was a no brainer for me. Definitely a tasty meal!

High energy meal after a long day...
This meal is delicious and hardy after a long day on the trail. Thick creamy sauce with tender noodles and big chicken pieces. Highly recommend this meal over similar meals from others. Pinnacle meals taste like you made the food yourself, no joke.
