    Best Breakfast

A great way to start the day most pinnacle meals only need 10 ounces of water I check the bag at 6 minutes and stir and see if I need to add another 2 ounces of water this meal needed the whole 12 ounces of water.the only thing is this meal was bland it could use some spices to make it more flavorful

    Really good

I liked this a lot. Everything rehydrated well, although it was a little wet in the bag (this seems to be common with scramble type meals). I drained this out and it wasn't really an issue. It was a little under seasoned, but nothing that a little hot sauce and a pinch of salt couldn't fix. The texture was good, slight chew on the sausage, which I actually prefer. The peppers were really nice, although I wish there was more of them. I didn't really pick up on the rosemary too much.

I also liked that it's a low carb meal option.

All in all, this is a great breakfast option. I will definitely be buying more.

    Delicious!

It smelled so good from the moment I added the water! Made breakfast burrito wraps. Great taste, filling, will buy again. Also great for lunch or dinner!

    Not terrible

This one was my least favorite mostly owing to the texture of the eggs. Still, you don't feel tortured eating it.

    Good while it lasted

Hearty & delicious—we split this into a 2-person meal. I was so pleased to find a breakfast backpacking meal that had transparent ingredients and didn't contain black pepper (I am allergic). It was absolutely delicious. I came back to purchase more and the packaging change prompted me to check the ingredients for changes. The new white bags contain black pepper. What a bummer for me. I'm glad I got to experience it for a little while. Unfortunately will not be purchasing again unless I find any of the older bags.

Like it was made in grandmas kitchen

Homemade goodness! Tasty, fresh, and simple. Makes an excellent breakfast burrito. Would definitely recommend.

    Not this one

Every Pinnacle meal I have tried has been great, except for this one. It’s pretty terrible, very bland and tasteless.

    Needs Tweaking

With the company that somehow found a way to make eggs good in this dried meal format no longer making meals, these eggs are decent enough and the meal is tolerable. I would like to see this offered without Bell Peppers (everybody likes to add Bells) but maybe with Jalepeno's, add some bacon and mushrooms, slightly cut back on taters would be a nice option in variety.

    exceptional breakfast

I rated this breakfast a 9/10 and my boy rated it a 6/10. I thought it was wonderful. It could probably use a little salt or pepper but over all very good. My boy would have rated higher he just isn't a fan of the peppers so we labeled it a 6 so we knew in the future it`s a no go for him

    Best dehydrated breakfast

I ordered these meals for first time at start of 2024.
I have never looked back. They r very filling, delicious and needs no salt lol
The one thing I do recommend is adding a half of cup of water extra. On all of their meals. They are my go to when adventure riding on my bike while primitive camping in National Forests. Combine these with my Jetboil, makes for a perfect, easy meal.

    Pleasantly Surprised

I've always been hesitant about dehydrated eggs when oatmeal is so easy, but in the winter when I really needed the calories I decided to give it a try. It was actually really good. The texture on the eggs was a little off, but that's unavoidable with dehydration, and the taste was great.

    Excellent Breakfast

Great breakfast without the hassle of stocking your fridge and having to clean up. Jet boil, pour and eat. The only problem is it's too much food

    Not my favorite

While Pinnacle Foods has the best backpacking meals on the market, this is my least favorite meal they sell. To be clear this still beats all other breakfast meals I have tried but I think its just an issue I have with all breakfast meals. That issue is the eggs, they just do not come out well when boiled, not that this is specific to Pinnacle, but all breakfast options that include eggs. If you have tried other brands egg breakfast meals and not liked them you will probably not like this one too despite having much better flavor (the onions are really good). I have since stopped buying this meal as I prefer to eat the lunch/dinner options for breakfast. Still at camp with my friends If I have one of these its better than money for trading with others!

    The winning Breakfast

My 3 sons just got back from a week long camping trip, and I had sent them with a plethora of freeze dried meals. This was their favorite breakfast meal. It was up agains Peak Refuel, Alpineaire, & the not-so-good-'ol Mountain House.

Great meal, enough for 2 people

Love this for breakfast on the trail but it's heavy. I usually eat a big dinner the night before so sometimes this is more than I need in the morning before getting back on the trail. I definitely recommend giving it a try but be prepared to share if you like a lighter breakfast.

    Finally decent backpacking eggs

Loved this one and was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the eggs far surpasses other companies dehydrated breakfasts

    Amazing Breakfast

This is the best way to start your day after that long night of sleep from backpacking. You won’t be able to find a better breakfast than this when you’re out on the trail, so definitely get yourself this amazing sausage and egg breakfast to give you the energy you need for your day ahead!

    Great taste!

Out of all the brands out there this is by far the best breakfast that includes eggs in it. Eggs for whatever reason are tough to rehydrate and are often times crunchy and this is great!

I haven't had much luck with dehydrated egg meals from other companies, but this was delicious. As with all of PF's meals, it tastes and looks like something you prepared at home. As others have said, I did not pick up on the rosemary much, but this was not a negative. I don't like to eat a huge breakfast before hitting the trail, so I split this with a fellow hiker. The bag could easily make 3 hearty breakfast burritos.

    Filling!

Awesome breakfast! This is huge! You could definitely split this if you aren't a huge breakfast eater. Add some powdered sriracha and it's perfect!
