Best backpacking meal I've ever had!!!

Seriously.... this tops anything I've EVER eaten on the trail! It's really good. And the calorie to oz ratio is excellent. Please continue to create more vegan options!

Noodle Shop on the Mountain Top

This meal is amazing, it has so much flavor and leaves you wondering if this bag is a portal to your local noodle shop.

    Pinnacles best meal

Pinnacle has a reputation for having the best backpacking meals and that is true for me after trying other brands. It's funny after a day of hiking to pull out a meal and for everyone else to be jealous of it like a kid whos mom packed him a cookie in their school lunch. That said of all of pinnacles meals this one is by far my favorite. I often pack more of these meals and always go for this one if I've had a hard day. Keep up the good work and I hope all new meals are as great as this one.

    Ohhh My Thai :)

These reviews are getting redundant but they are spot on! I wasn’t even in the woods this time , just doing a ton of yard work and treated myself to dinner under a P-pine. Thanks Pinnacle.

Probably the best backpacking meal I've ever had

I purchased a couple of these from garage grown gear, but had to come here to say how amazing these are. I've never been so excited about a dehydrated meal. There's usually something lacking. These rehydrate extremely well and the consistency was perfect (the only thing that wasn't fully hydrated was the edamame, which was no big deal). Mild on the spice level, which is honestly preferably in the backcountry. PLEASE make more vegetarian meals! I would buy them all.

    Too good

Hands down the best freeze-dried meal I've ever had. Pinnacle Foods is my favorite brand, and the thai curry is my favorite dish they offer. I purchase no less than 6 of these at a time and have often thought about having them for front country dinners -- they are that good! Just buy it, seriously, you won't regret.

    Another home run from Pinnacle.

My wife and I are so glad we tried Pinnacle’s freeze-dried meals for the first time last fall. This and the ‘Sticky chicken’ are such a tasty reward at the end of the day. Plus the nutritional aspect these meals rock. We can wait to see what new meals will be next.

I have never enjoyed a freeze-dried meal so much! As a vegetarian, I greatly appreciated this delicious vegan option, and the thoughtfulness of the fully omnidegradable packaging. What a mindful and excellent product!

Honestly, and I’m not just saying this: the thai peanut curry tasted like it could have come from a restaurant. Loved it. Can’t believe it came out of a bag.

This is my favorite backpacking meal

Tastes as good as homemade ... or better! I've tasted by friend's backpacking food from other companies - BLLLEECKKK!!! Pinnacle outshines them all with great flavor and chunky real veggies!

    Favorite Pinnacle Meal

I've tried all of the Pinnacle dinners and this one has to be my favorite. The flavors are so good and love all the veggies. I always use the insulated bag to cook these meals and they never come out crunchy. I've tried many other brands and they really don't compare as far as flavor and taste goes. Keep up the good work!!

Absolutely delicious. The food rehydrated perfectly and the flavor is amazing. Finally a veggie meal that is neither bland nor a salt lick!

    So many vegetables!!!

This is the best backpacking meal I've ever had. Its so flavorful, but it hits a note not many backpacking food has even if it tastes good - vegetables. Its so so fresh and healthy. Normally your just getting a bunch of rice and chicken and not much else. Even other ones with veggies in them don't have as many or taste as good.

    Great taste

This meal tastes really really good for a freeze dried meal. I personally add some sriracha to up the heat since it’s a little bland for me but that’s just personal preference. Wish it had less sodium but I get it for purposes of preservation.

I eat these as regular meals too

I find myself craving the Thai peanut curry so much that I sometimes will make them just at home. Best dehydrated meal I’ve ever had. I’d love more no meat/gluten free options like this!

    Nutrient dense and delicious meals

We are very particular on ingredients, to the point we almost bought a freeze dryer and made our own meals until i found Pinnacle. These are the only meals we bring to the back country and also work great for road trips. These check all the boxes, full of protein, great ingredients and delicious!!

    Love this meal!

I tried this meal for the first time while backpacking this past summer. It was SO good! It's definitely going to be on the menu for me again in the future. The only thing I would recommend is that you either add less water, or bring an extra package of ramen noodles to throw into it when you add the water. I divide these meals into two servings anyway, and being able to stretch them a little bit by adding the noodles works just right for me.

Great but water mix can be tricky!

The flavor and quality of food is great. The only gripe is that it can be tricky to know how much water to put in to have it not be soupy but also be edible as a camp meal.

Just really good flavor - not kind of Thai like - really good

It has great flavor and is refreshing to have some Thai flavoring while backpacking. Its not as filling as some of the others, but its vegan afterall. I always hydrate for much longer than suggested (if you can stand it). Then top off with a little extra hot water just before esting.

Officially the best backpacker meal I have ever had

I have tried the Tuscan chicken (didn't get the chicken rehydrate right so need a redo on that one) and I have tried this one. If you like curry, this is amazing. Officially the best I have ever had and I have probably had 20 plu different brands /meals.

Best freeze dried I've ever tried.

I ordered all the meals you guys offer. While they were all amazing, this one stood out. It felt like a home cooked meal. I'll be a regular subscriber.

    So good

It's hard enough finding good Thai food in the city let alone when you're squatting around a campfire in the middle of nowhere. Pinnacle has done it though. This Thai curry is one of the most delicious camp meals I've ever had. Creamy and rich combined with real vegetables (broccoli, edamame, peppers and onions oh my!). I do wish the noodles were a bit more substantial but that does not diminish the down-right awesomeness of this meal. Spice level was 1.5 out of 5 stars (e.g., not spicy). Looking forward to trying other Pinnacle meals!

    Not bad

I am not sure what I was expecting as this is vegetarian and has rice noodles. It was decent flavor, but on the mild side, and there were plenty of veggies. Not my favorite but you wouldn't feel deprived eating this at camp.
